Last year we purchased a Holden Crewman ute to use as a shop truck to cart parts around
The intention was to leave it standard and just drive it. Well that was the plan anyway, but it didn’t really work out too well.
After a bit of a brain storm session (only 6 days after buying it) our stock VY II crewman was stripped and prep work began for a custom paint job.
This is how it came up, coke red kandy fade to black with marbleised flames under the kandy.

What started off as a quick engine swap, turned into a complete 5 month rebuild with this WRX.
The donor motor wasn’t up to our standards and had lived a hard life so the only way to fix things was to build a fresh one.
So it received a completely built 2L, with twist mounted GT30 turbo and all the supporting mods to back it up.
While it was in our hands Brad and Adrian from Dr. Stitch yet again worked their magic on the interior.

Yes, there has been a lack of updates lately, not because we haven’t had anything worthy of posting up but simply because there has been so much going on that the website has had to take a back seat.
But finally here are some quick updates on what we’ve been up to since the new year
Brodie’s never ending story EG Civic is still going, with a recently completed engine conversion and some more trim work.
The car received a B16A2 engine and gearbox swap, full wire tuck, shaved and repainted engine bay and power steering and air con removal.

While we were attacking the motor Brad from Dr. Stitch ripped in to the dash trimming it in red suede to match the rest of the interior

We also got Moey from Queen Street Red Walls and Guard Rolling to come an wall up some of our cars, heres the results.

Heres a quick shot of a rocker cover we just finished, speed flow breather fittings were welded on and all the writing was shaved before the cover was chrome plated. We got a heap of other parts chromed as well so once the motor is assembled it will look awesome.
Stay tuned for updated photos as things come together.
