Dahtone Racing plug and play fast response RB26 inlet air temp sensor is essential when tuning your RB engine with an aftermarket ECU.
The RB26 engine was originally fitted from Nissan with essentially what is a water temperature sensor. These sensors are not designed to measure air temperature fast enough when tuning with an aftermarket ECU. The OEM sensor heat soaks after a short period of time and will not read the actual air temperature the engine is taking in.
With our extended open tip fast responding sensor your ECU will be able to read the actual air temperature that your engine is ingesting. This is a 100% plug and play kit so all you have to do is remove the OEM sensor, screw in the new item and plug the supplied wiring in.
This kit will work with all Skyline GT-Rs (R32,33 and 34) as well as all engines running an OEM RB26 plenum or aftermarket RB26 plenum with an OEM style IAT sensor port and the front.
